I like to go, when I am in Europe, for a weekend in the beautiful French countryside. Every city bigwig in France has a vineyard that he goes to, with gentleman farmers who have one worker or keeper. It is all subsidised by the European Common Agricultural Policy. It is a very pleasant life: good food, good surroundings, siesta after lunch. The French today are not going after glory anymore.
